Cash Gifting UK

cash gifting UK
Why did my first Ebay bid go so bad when I Won the Bid?

I was so excited that I won my first bid on Ebay, was going to be one of the best gifts I could have gotten my husband this year. After it said “You won” I clicked on shipping and ask seller a question. Seller emailed me and said its to heavy to ship to the U.S. and Its a cash only. you should have read shipping. I emailed back and said ” in the profile of the product. it said shipping to: US Europ and Canada , payment is Money order only, no Pay Pal. ” Now he says cash only? and cant send to US because its to heavy,,its a book! (Seller is from the UK) It says my contract is binding. I did not put my signature on anything,,,and I will not send Cash threw the mail…..
Why did shipping rules change after the fact? And do I really owe this person $ now? I did read all the comment and everyone gave this seller a 100% all good comments…..do you know why this would happen,,,now I cant buy the book. (Cant get it here in the United States)

I agree with the other people here. You need to contact e-bay. I have bought things on ebay as well. There was a seller who had 100% too and it said guarnteed to arive in 7-14 days. It ended up being like 2 months or something. Turns out she is buying it from a company. Sometimes you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into when you buy on there. However, you can download a product on ebay that tells you if this certain site is fake or not, so you don’t give out your info. to the wrong hands.
Hope you get it resolved. Good luck,
R.S.
