What would be an appropriate gift?
My cousin is graduating from The University of Texas with his MBA. He is in his 30′s, has a 3 year old, and does well at his current job. What would be an appropriate gift to give him at the party his wife is throwing for him?
I just feel weird giving him cash, but that is what we do for High School graduates in my family….
- You could get him a nice bar set.
- Crown Royal or Amaretto
- watch
- gift card for a nice dinner for him and his wife (maybe an offer to babysit for that night)
This is really hard. Books are always nice, but difficult to buy. I’d get to the wife and ask what he’s into. If he likes golf, maybe a club cover or some fancy ball cleaner (or just a gift certificate to a golf store), or book him a tee time.
